When you move into a new home, you want to make it your own - to tell your story. Stephanie Elaine Interiors exists to help people to achieve that sense of warmth, comfort and pride in their own home.

A student of the prestigious KLC School of Design, Stephanie began her career in Interior Design and Styling following a career in marketing, after deciding to pursue her long-held dream to design homes that are both a reflection of the people that live there and in tune, wherever possible, with the planet.

Stephanie learnt about what it takes to create and maintain a beautiful home from an early age, spending her first opportunities for work experience with her Dad, a Builder & Decorator. ‘I remember working with my Dad in the summer holidays, learning how to correctly apply cement to the bricks to repoint a garden wall, and sanding down the wooden window frame of a client's country kitchen. It wasn’t what any of my friends were doing, but I loved it.’ Visiting the different homes her Dad worked on sparked a delight of how spaces could be transformed. ‘It truly was the before and after effect that had a profound impact on me - it was so tangible and a real affect on the the clients, that I knew interior design was what I wanted to do - one day.’ 

With a natural artistic flair, Steph was torn between studying art or taking a more 'academic' route, eventually choosing to study Psychology at University. ‘People are so complex, I was always fascinated by our inner motivations, why we do what we do and in turn, why certain environments draw emotional responses. I felt a grounding in Psychology would benefit whatever career I chose.’ 

From here, Steph pursued a career in Marketing - also blend of art and science, which has enabled her to become a skilled storyteller and understand what it takes to produce high quality visual images and brand content that truly engages an audience. 

Now, with a background in brand storytelling and psychology, Steph works closely with her clients to design treasured, timeless homes and style beautiful visuals for holiday homes and interiors brands. 

Passionate about the fact a great looking home should be possible for everyone and shouldn’t be at the expense of quality or the environment, she offers a variety of services. From a one-off video consultation, to a full concierge service, Steph specialises in providing the guidance you need to create a space you adore.

'I love the process of getting to know you and your aspirations for your project, the end result needs to reflect you and your lifestyle. For interior design, wherever possible I will work with you to utilise pieces you already own, source vintage or antique pieces and guide you towards more people and planet friendly materials and suppliers. After all, a truly timeless interior is often a curated mix of the classic and the contemporary and makes use of materials sympathetic to the environment.'
